About His Story

Let me introduce myself.  I am the wife of 26 years married to my husband and father of our 4 children.  An incredible story to be shared started with a diagnosis, a stubborn man & very concerned family.  My husband whom was 56 at the time was diagnosed with a Gleason 6 biopsy & positive for cancer in 3 areas of his prostate.  A high PSA beginning at 5.7 which jumped to 11.9 in a short amount of time was shocking to me and our family.  He was told the first biopsy ( only zoned in on the 3 trouble spots shown on MRI) was not accurate & needed a second biopsy with the full spectrum and would need to do another.  He kicked and screamed and said "absolutely not!" He wanted to wait 3 months to heal from the first biopsy which is logical however, had 3 areas in his tiny prostate that had a positive cancer diagnosis.  My son and I (the wifey), panicked and came up with a plan. You see we could not just sit back and do absolutely nothing for the next 3 months!  We researched, read many books, followed up with an amazing functional medicine doctor as well & continued to follow the lead of urologist/oncologist so we can follow the best of both worlds.  His new routine included a drastic lifestyle change & combined a new diet, supplements and healthy way of living. Within two and half weeks my husbands PSA dropped drastically on his new routine from 11.9 to 4.99. When the 3 months came to take the second biopsy his results we thought were remarkable.  Two of three cancer spots had disappeared. The urologist/oncologist was very pleased and said to monitor his PSA and continue to do exactly what he was doing.

Present day of March 2026 his PSA is 3.29..
